La academia de Hollywood ha anunciado mediante Tracee Ellis Ross y Leslie Jordan los nominados a posibles ganadores de un Oscar en las 23 categorías participantes. Como es costumbre, los premios más importantes del cine mundial será realizado en el teatro Dolby de Los Ángeles en su edición número 94.
El día 8 de febrero ha sido el día más importante para la gran mayoría de actores de Hollywood, ya que desde esta fecha se ha podido saber quiénes se encuentran en camino para ganar una de las preciadas estatuillas. El día 27 de marzo es el día elegido por la academia para celebrar esta fiesta del cine, la cual ha tenido año tras año menos gente viéndola.
El problema de la pandemia, las plataformas de streaming como principal medio para ver contenido y el que la gente desplace la televisión como medio de información, han hecho que los Oscar sean seguidos cada vez menos. Sin embargo, esto no desalienta a los actores ni organizadores, quienes estarán listos para presentarnos a todos los ganadores el día 27 de marzo.
