El evento Critics Choice Awards 2022 ya reveló la lista de ganadores de su certamen anual de entrega de premios. La gala contó con un abanico de diversos actores y actrices, directores y demás miembros de la industria del cine.

Critics Choice Awards: Un resumen de la gala
Los premios fueron entregados al mismo tiempo que Los BAFTA, también llamados los premios Oscar Británicos. Entre los ganadores tenemos a las aclamadas Dune, CODA y The Power of the Dog, que fueron de las que ganaron más estatuillas durante esta ceremonia. También debemos mencionar algunos de los nombres que resaltaron durante la ceremonia y estos son los de Andrew Garfield, Troy Kotsu y la película japonesa, que parece seguirá los pasos de la premiada Parasite, la intimista Drive My Car, basada en un texto del escritor Haruki Murakami.

También es necesario mencionar Belfast, de Kenneth Branagh, inspirada en su infancia y desarrollada en Irlanda del Norte durante la época de los Troubles; el remake del clásico West Side Story, dirigido por Steven Spielberg, ambas liderando las listas de favoritos con 11 nominaciones por cinta; mientras que Succession, con 8 nominaciones, la serie con más posibilidades de triunfo.

Son más de 500 críticos y periodistas de todo el mundo quienes eligen a los nominados y, posteriormente, a los ganadores. Es por eso que vemos series de diversas partes de globo, como, por ejemplo: Squid Game, Lupin y The Witcher, compitiendo en las categorías de televisión. Además, los Critics Choice Awards consideran películas que, en algunos casos, son obviados de los premios Oscar. Siendo este último el caso de Spider-Man: No Way Home.
